RADU Brews & Bites
A weekend garage cafe by the river that I run with my brother. I designed the brand and built the ordering system that became OREDI Smart POS.
The cafe
RADU is a riverside garage cafe in Penampang that I run with my brother. It opens on weekends. Guests sit down, order, and staff bring the food and drinks to their table. They pay at the counter and pick up their own cutlery there.

I designed the RADU Brews & Bites brand myself.
The ordering problem
We wanted orders to come straight from the table, reach the counter the moment they were sent, and go out one item at a time instead of waiting for the whole table. At the end of the day, we needed to know exactly what sold.
I looked at the big POS apps and used them as a reference. Then I built our own around how RADU actually serves.
What I built
- A QR code on every table that opens the menu on the guest's phone. Nothing to download.
- Orders that appear on the counter screen with a sound. We chose sound over email or message alerts, because nobody at a busy counter checks their inbox.
- Item-by-item tracking, so a drink goes out the moment it's ready.
- Receipts printed over Bluetooth at the counter.
- Tags on sales, so takings can be grouped and split the way we need.
Where it is now
The system runs at the counter every weekend. With the RADU branding taken out, it became OREDI Smart POS, so other cafes can use it with their own name and logo. RADU is customer number one.
