System development

Software built around how you actually work.

Most small businesses run on a notebook, a spreadsheet and a WhatsApp group. That works, until it doesn't. I build small web systems that replace the mess, starting with the one my own cafe runs on.

Sound familiar?

Signs you've outgrown the notebook.

  • 01Orders or bookings get lost between WhatsApp, paper and memory.
  • 02You add up the day's sales by hand.
  • 03Only one person knows how things work, and they are always busy.
  • 04You pay for an app that does half of what you need.

What I build

Small systems that do one job well.

Ordering and point of sale

Customers order, staff get it on screen, every sale is counted. OREDI Smart POS is this, already running.

See OREDI

Bookings and deposits

Open slots, deposit links and a reminder the day before, so the calendar stays honest.

Stock and records

What came in, what went out, what's running low. Kept in one place instead of three.

Dashboards and reports

The numbers you check every week, on one screen, without building a spreadsheet each time.

Already running

OREDI Smart POS

QR ordering and point of sale for small cafes and restaurants. I built it for RADU Brews & Bites, where it takes the orders every weekend. Now other food businesses can use it, with their own name and logo on it.

How a build runs

Start small. Use it for real. Then improve it.

  1. 01

    Map it

We sit down, often at your counter, and map how things actually work today.

  2. 02

    Build a first version

Something you can use with real orders or bookings. Not a slide deck.

  3. 03

    Adjust

After a week of real use, we change whatever doesn't fit.

  4. 04

    Keep it running

Hosting, updates and fixes for a monthly fee, so it keeps working.

How I build

Small and specific

It does what your business needs, and nothing extra for your staff to learn.

Runs in a browser

On the phones, tablets and laptops you already have. No app store, no installs.

Your own system

Each business gets its own setup. Your records aren't mixed with anyone else's.

Questions

Before you ask.

How much does a custom system cost?

It depends on what it needs to do. After a free call to map how your business runs, you get a written quote for the build and the monthly running cost.

Do I need to buy new devices?

Usually not. The systems run in a web browser, so the phones, tablets or laptops you already use will do.

Would an off-the-shelf app be cheaper?

Sometimes, yes. If an existing app does the job, I'll tell you, and help you set it up instead.

Do you build systems for cafes and restaurants?

Yes. OREDI Smart POS, a QR ordering and point of sale system, was built for my own cafe, RADU Brews & Bites, and is available to other food businesses.

What's your notebook?

Tell me how a normal day runs and where it gets messy. I'll tell you honestly if a system would help.
